Rúmil's hand was poised to knock on the Minstrel's door but found
that is stood slightly ajar. Frowning, he pushed it open and stepped
inside, searching the chamber for any sign of the white-haired ellon
(m. elf).
Earlier that day, Lindir had stopped Rúmil in the hallway and said
that there was a question that he wanted to ask him. When the
Galadhel had said he could ask him anything, the Minstrel asked if
he could meet him in his chambers after the evening meal and he
would ask his question then. Not knowing what Lindir was up to, none
the less Rúmil agreed because he would use any excuse to spend time
with the beautiful Minstrel that had secretly captured his heart.
After calling out Lindir's name, Rúmil heard is name called from
the bedchamber and walked over and entered the room only to stop
dead in his tracks. Suddenly, Rúmil found it very hard to breathe as
he drank in the sight of the Minstrel lounging on the bed with only
a sheer silk robe on that hid nothing, only accentuating Lindir's
sensuous form.
Lindir crooked his finger at Rúmil and when the Galadhel stumbled
to a stop at the foot of the bed, the Minstrel rose to his knees and
said, "I would like to ask my question now but you must come closer
first."
Rúmil could only nod as he walked around to the side of the bed
and gulped as Lindir crawled towards him. When the Minstrel was
kneeling before him he choked out, "What is your question?"
Lindir smiled wickedly into the Galadhel's hazel eyes and
asked, "Do you like what you see?"
The rest of the air rushed out of Rúmil's lungs as he nodded once
again and then was pulled onto the bed, his lips captured in a
passionate kiss. When finally those succulent lips moved to lick and
nibble his ear, he heard Lindir whisper, "Good answer."
